This is a beautiful exploration of how Miroku and Sango's story might have played out, had they been born in the modern era instead of the Sengoku Jidai. Tons of delicious angst and tension!

Good Morning by neveralarch [Locked Tomb trilogy - Gideon & Harrow - 1,132 words]
If the author's own summary won't get you to read this gem, I don't know what will: Gideon's Guide to Doing Some Push-Ups, At Least, Have You Never Used Your Arms, Nonagesimus?

Keys to the Universe by Didi [Power Rangers: MMPR, Turbo, In Space - Tommy/Kim, Jason/Trini, and some other ships - 301,282 words]
The Power Rangers from MMPR to In Space are summoned across the galaxy for an important secret mission. I can't even tell you how many times I've read this one. It's my go-to comfort read. I adore the way this author writes Jason and Trini in particular. (This story was recommended to me by a good friend as a means of luring me into the Power Rangers fandom. It worked.)

What Lurks Beneath by Didi [Power Rangers: MMPR - Tommy/Kim and Jason/Trini - 66,541 words - explicit]
Another favorite by Didi, in which the Rangers must face an unexpected new foe well after they thought they were done being Power Rangers.
