Reccer's Note: The author summarizes it by saying it is another post-"The Chute" story, but they don't give themselves enough credit. It's occurs in the aftermath of that episode, and is focusing on Harry pulling away from Tom, Tom trying to figure out why, and Harry trying to understand his feelings. Tom is very kind in this fic, but still eminently practical, and Harry is very confused, but still very much himself.

Guardian (TV and book fusion) fic: Not All Those Who Wander by Xparrot (23k)
Summary: The god Kunlun is as old as the mountain range that bears his name, if not older. Or so the villagers say. He was here before any people were, as eternal as the mountains — moreso, in truth. The mountains might change, but Kunlun remains Kunlun. (This leans more heavily on tv than book canon and has a fascinating fable/myth quality to it, an excellent read)

Also, thanks for clarifying the Howl's Moving Castle reference in the second piece. I know I've watched that movie, but it's been literal DECADES, so I'd missed the connection when I saw that on my TL.
