With great apologies to Victor Hugo, this story blends the characters and circumstances of the tragedy of Notre Dame, and paints them across an alternate universe inhabited by the unbreakable Winchesters, and none of it survives intact. You know the classic. You know the show. But don't assume you know the story...
Reccer's Note: I discovered the art first, which made me read the fic. The story has a fairytale feel to it, and is loosely inspired by the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Sam looks like a monster and is forced to live underground, with Dean being is only companion, until one day Cas enters the catacombs where Sam lives.

Reccer's Note: This is an absolutely delightful, funny, sweet, bitter-sweet, heartbreaking, sexy, *funny* and delightful series. I know very little about Ancient Rome, but this didn't confuse or confound me. It was just a wonderful read from start to finish.

KID and temporarily antidoted Shinichi go undercover as dating. I appreciate a good Detective Conan casefic that takes place during the Conan era, and this one fits the bill - the undercover infiltration is great, and I really like the acknowledgment that both the Conan situation and the KID situation are things that they'll have to deal with. I hope there might be a sequel someday!
