This is a super mellow story that is so richly detailed abt what life is like in the Korean countryside, that I could've read 100k more words abt it! The fic centers around human connections and learning to enjoy life more.
One thing that I really liked abt this fic was the way the author approached asexuality.
* the bend and snap (works every time) by
NGL, I had a fantastic time reading this story. The LB AU angle was already charming me, but the Omegaverse layer was *chef's kiss*.
* Hypothetically, yes; Theoretically, Forever by
I liked the many dates he went on (mostly with OMCs) with not-so-gentle commentary from Jimin and Yoongi. NGL, I laughed a lot, wanted to pat Jungkook's head for being a doofus, and was delighted when RM and Jungkook finally got back on track.
* Up and Down series (Explicit, Jungkook/Yoongi, 29.2k split into two stories) - Canon compliant (sorta? Don't sweat it if you don't know the canon, tho) fic abt Jungkook being curious regarding the mysterious concept of "rimming". ;)
The first story is more Porn with Feelings than anything else. It's a good showcase of why Sugakookie (meaning the Yoongi/Jungkook ship) is super fun to dive into: the fierce determination of Jungkook to explore things; Yoongi's playful and patient way of helping his dude figure out sexual stuff; the combo of heat and tenderness once shenanigans begin…
The second fic is more on the PWP side of things as Jungkook finds out abt Yoongi's strength kink. >:)
* Look at My Crown Glitter by
One day, Hoseok (the king's closest advisor) comes up with an idea to set up an arranged marriage in order to combat the king's apparent unpopularity. Far away from the palace (and mostly thinking it's some kind of prank), Park Jimin ends up filling up a questionnaire that seemingly wants to match him up with the monarch.
The joy in the story comes from enjoying the romcom aspects of it. There are some tense moments (there's someone targeting Yoongi for unknown reasons), but the bulk of the story is the breezy romance between a commoner and a king. I also enjoyed the rest of the Tannies in the story.
Nip & Bloom by
After losing his 3rd appeal, omega!Jimin ends up getting paired up with Yoongi, the unlikeliest alpha Jimin has ever met.
This was such an entertaining, plotty, and fun read! The slow-ish burn really works. I also loved the way the rest of the Tannies were incorporated into the story. :DDDD

Summary: When the Sacrifice Summon ritual goes wrong, Mo Xuanyu assumes his chance at revenge and freedom is gone. However, he still has bound Wei Wuxian's ghost to him, and together they make a plan: Mo Xuanyu will pretend to be fully possessed by the Yiling Laozu, they'll get rid of the Mo family, and then Mo Xuanyu will be miraculously "cured" and excused of all wrongdoing when a cultivator tries to exorcise him. What could go wrong?
Steps one and two go fine. Step three gets tricky when the cultivator who shows up is Hanguang-jun, who seems very uninterested in any exorcisms and very interested in "Wei Wuxian." It becomes even more complicated when Mo Xuanyu realizes he's stumbled into the middle of a star-crossed romance: and worst of all, that he's falling too. (It's really interesting how so many canon points change as a result of the divergence in this WWX/LWJ/MXY fic)

A wandering cultivator, the son of Cangse sanren at that, cannot possibly seek a proper courtship with him. He doesn’t have the heart to tell her he’s broken their understanding. Two years later, this failure to speak the truth comes back to haunt him. (realistic, and great, look at how a rogue cultivator WWX no war but acknowledging their different status AU would play out)
