Summary: The huli-jing of the Yiling Wei sect have always stood out as neither being on the side of the law or against it. However everything changed with the murder of their leader. Now, with a usurper sitting upon the Spider Lily throne, Wei Wuxian fights to reclaim his birthright and set his clan back on the right course. No one will stop him. Not even Lan Wangji, the finest dragon on the force and the only man to ever come close to catching him. (Okay, so this a long one, but it's great! There's tons of world building for how cultivation still exists in the modern world and how those who are fully humans and those who aren't work together. The Mystery is well plotted and despite the length the fic never seemed to drag. If you have the time, it's well work a read.)

Lan Wangji comes to two conclusions, almost simultaneously. The first, is that Nie Huaisang is messing with Wei Ying. The second, is that Wei Ying has never had sex in his life.
Or: Lan Wangji goes to Yunmeng, realizes that Wei Ying is a virgin, and takes decisive action.

The man looks downright embarrassed now, ducking his head and running his fingers through the hair escaping from his high ponytail. “I –er– may have destroyed my sister’s wedding cake? Just the top few tiers! It wasn’t even my fault, Jiang Cheng told me he had it and –”
Lan Zhan interrupts him, something else he’s not in the habit of doing but he feels the situation demands it, the man poised to continue babbling incoherently despite his earlier urgency, “Do you have a picture?”

Wei Ying has a baking emergency. Luckily Lan Zhan is there to help.
The Twin Jade Problem
All Wei Wuxian wants to do is get to know Hot Gusu Jade a little better. This would be a lot easier if he wasn’t, apparently, an identical twin. Maybe he should ask their older brother for help telling them apart…?
Lan Wangji does not approve of his brother’s new boyfriend, who can’t seem to tell him and Xichen apart, and won’t leave him alone even when he can. All he can do is hope that Wei Ying will tire of making overtures before it does something unpleasant to Lan Wangji’s heart.
Aka: The one where Wei Wuxian thinks Lan Zhan is twins (yes, both of them), and Lan Wangji thinks Wei Wuxian is dating Lan Xichen.
…Oops.

There is something wrong, glaringly wrong, that Nie Mingjue can’t place. He coughs and covers his eyes with bloodied fingers, groaning against the light. He wills his head to stop spinning, wills his mind to start working.
The smell is awful, stale. It nudges at the edge of his memory, familiar in a way he can’t put his finger on. He breathes in through his nose too deeply; it sends him into another heaving fit, head pounding with the movement of his body.
Blood, he realizes all at once, his hair standing on edge. The smell is blood.

You know Aziraphale, right? The nervous bookseller who abhors violence and gave away his flaming sword? Has a nice sideline in restoring delicate old books? Likes fancy fragile teacups and itty bitty snuff boxes? He's also the guy who was sent to guard the eastern gate of Eden from Hell's invaders, commands his own platoon of the heavenly host, and punched a big-ass hole in the wall surrounding Eden*, so Adam and Eve could flee into the desert. Reconcile that.
*Whoops they forgot to actually install a gate in the show.

A romance in both sense of the word. Sometime after their reunion, Ed and Stede wash up on a desert island. It's nice as these places go, apart from the angry wild boars and the odd shark. And Ed kind of wants to murder Stede a little bit. How did they get there? Can they work together? Can they escape? Do they want to escape? GOSH I SURE HOPE NOBODY'S NAVY TURNS UP THAT WOULD BE BAD. I advise starting this in daylight hours so you're not up very very late to find out what happens. Don't be like me.

Modern AU. Izzy and Ed run a pub. Well, Izzy runs it and Ed turns up when he feels like it. It's frustrating, but it's better, or at least more legal and less violent, than their previous profession, and the endless, unchanging work helps Izzy deal with his addiction. So it's good. It works. Until one morning some annoying posho professor type asks Izzy for directions and Izzy's entire life goes to hell. You may also have a little antarctic exploration, as a treat.
