Surprise, surprise, more lesser known MDZS/Untamed fic recs from me today (this time with an accidental canon-divergent AU theme):
The Fourth Path by handwritten (onefromanotherworld) (6.5k) Summary: Wen Chao finds the Yunmeng Siblings and Wei Wuxian after the core transfer and throws them all into the Burial Mounds hoping to trap them there for all eternity. Turns out eternity is not as long as he had hoped for. After months developing a new cultivation path, the Yunmeng trio has come back to take back their sect. (absolutely fascinating demonic cultivating trio AU)
Patriarch by WithBroomBefore (26.5k) Summary: Fix-it AU diverging from canon during the second Nightless City battle. A number of people don't die, but that does not make things easy. (AU where LWJ accidentally becomes a new Yiling Patriarch and WWX doesn't die, sort of)
Paths untaken by apathyinreverie (5k) Summary: The thing is, the Cloud Recesses are big and Caiyi is even bigger. (Or, Lan Zhan chooses differently at Qiongqi Path.) (short but believable canon divergent fic after WWX rescues the Wen and hilarious brief LXC and LQR reactions to the result)
